At EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum in Dublin’s CHQ building, follow 20 self-guided galleries about Irish emigration, culture, and global influence. Your ticket includes a souvenir passport and a free audio guide app in nine languages. Allow 1.5 to 3 hours, and add the Irish Family History Centre separately if you want genealogy help.

Join a local English, French, or Spanish-speaking guide at Trinity College for the Book of Kells 360 experience, then walk past Molly Malone to Dublin Castle. Guides such as Richard, Sean, Declan, and Alan are praised for lively storytelling. Expect cobblestones, stairs, and about 165 minutes on foot.

Use a 1 to 5 day Go City Dublin Pass for entry to more than 40 attractions. Scan your phone at places such as Guinness Storehouse, Jameson Distillery, EPIC, Dublin Zoo, and the city bus tour. Reserve popular stops early, then group nearby sights to get real value.

Visit EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum in Dublin’s CHQ building for a self-guided, interactive look at Irish people and their worldwide influence. Use the audio app, collect a souvenir passport, and return free within 10 days. Allow at least two hours.

All sections in bite sized, interactive, audio - not too overwhelming. We loved the reinvention of the beautiful building too. Visit Dublin’s Christ Church Cathedral at your own pace with entry to the nave and Ireland’s largest crypt. Use the multilingual audio guide to trace medieval pilgrims, view relics, stained glass, Magna Carta material, and the famous mummified cat and rat. Step into Dublin’s World of Illusion for three floors of visual tricks, colorful displays, and hands-on exhibits. Plan on 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on your pace. It suits families, school groups, dates, and photo-hungry visitors, but some exhibits may feel repetitive for older children and adults.
“It was fun. Not very big. I’ve been to the one on Chicago and that one is huge but it is still fun especially for kids. I enjoyed it.”
Explore three floors of wax figures and interactive displays at Dublin’s National Wax Museum Plus. Meet Irish writers, scientists, musicians, and historical figures, then pose with U2, Oscar Wilde, Dracula, or Hannibal Lecter. Plan on 45 to 60 minutes, with some scary areas for young children.
